Gerbera Jamesonii Hybrids have beautiful large 'daisy like' flowers. They make an excellent cut flower, lasting up to 14 days in a vase and are used extensively in professional bouquets.
Gerbera Jamesonii Hybrids exotic looking flower heads measure 7.5-10cm across and are held up on a 25cm tall sturdy stem. They are a useful mix of single colours ranging from white, pink, yellow, orange and red.
Gerbera Jamesonii Hybrids are native to South Africa where they are classed as perennials but due to the UK climate they can only really be successfully grown as an annual and so should be kept undercover through the summer. They may do ok outside in the South of the UK in a sunny sheltered spot.
Gerbera Jamesonii Hybrids make excellent attractive cut flowers that grow well in a pot.
