Nigella hispanica has delicate vivid blue semi-double flowers with dark crimson stamens & light green feathery foliage. Nigella hispanica is fast, easy to grow hardy annual that makes a pretty fresh cut flower (lasts 7-10 days in a vase) or a sculptural dried seed pod.
Nigella hispanica grows to 30-40cm and flowers from June to August. It is best sown direct as it dislikes being transplanted.
