Zinnia 'Queen Lime' Cut Flower Seeds |
|
Zinnia 'Queen Lime' is a lovely cut flower with unusual lime green petals. It is an easy to grow double variety that reaches 60-70cm tall & can last up to 2 weeks in a vase.
Zinnia 'Queen Lime' mixes well with white or pale colours and looks stunning with brighter oranges, crimsons or cerise pinks. A versatile flower that suits classic country or more modern arrangements and looks just as good in the garden too!
Approx 25 seeds per pack.

Full sun, well-drained fertile soil.

How:
|
Either direct sow seed (April to May) thinly in rows 30cm apart, and lightly cover with fine soil. Firm soil gently and keep moist. When large enough thin to 25cm apart.
Alternatively sow seed in small individual pots (March to April) cover with a thin layer of seed compost/vermiculite. Water & keep under cover at 20°C & germination will take 7-14 days. Grow on at 15°C & when seedlings large enough 'harden off' for a few days before planting out (25cm apart, in rows 30cm apart) in late May.

Care:
|
Keep weed free and moist but do not over water. Keep picking to prolong flowering period. Cut the flowers when fully open for use in arrangements.
